It's a cool bike and I would love to have it but.... I think he might be a bit proud on that price.
But I don't really know the European market..
Any comments?

but if I could have a choice...I'd take Georges Jobe's 86 SR, or the 84 SR...love the look of em...
Jobes 86...

mike thats one of the 3 last open class prototype-works-bikes and simply unpayable  ...many special-handmade parts like the frame tank and so on.
4gear-trans-box and a very rideable power-delivery .hear the amazing engine sound in the video.
unfortunately this bike never won the world championchip-title that it was made for.

It depends what the cost to build. Honda works cr250 back in 99 cost nearly $400,000.00 EACH http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg119/cr500-af/kx%20500%20team%20green/SAM_0509crinfo.jpg
Not fan of the look of the 91sr, but i would fancy the motor even though they used to break the odd conrod

Now I'm more thinking of USMC 500 tassels, could be a good idea for the wife :-D
Some time ago thorpe's 91 bike was for sale only not so nice as this, was only 18000,- euro a small $ 24061,68
Now the 19000,- pounds is $ 31704,46 :-o
The side numberplates of the 91 kx500sr isn't that shiny, the rest I like. Mostly the engine!
