Some of you may remember that I started testing SharkHide a little over a year ago.
I just updated the thread with the 1 year results and some pics.

Looking for suggestions on where to go from here on testing..

Looking for suggestions on where to go from here on testing..
you mean like a polished swing arm?
-
I was thinking more like additional tests... Abrasion, reflectivity, lubricity, ect :-D
-
reflectivity
hmmm...I think I'd be comfortable using one of those pieces as a mirror to shave.
-
can it be used on a exhaust pipe? I couldn't see any mention of high heat applications?
-
That's a good question.
I have been playing around with painted high heat clear coats and they will easily handle the heat.
I have to bake some engine cases today so I'll toss the test piece in the oven and see what happens.
-
Works Connection frame guards could be an interesting test too.
-
Ok... I baked my test piece for two hours at 550f...
Passed with no problem.
I could test it with my torch to get higher temps but I don't have a accurate way to measure the temps.
Send me some frame guards and I'll Sharkhide them for you and you can test them.
Or, I'll Sharkhide one and clear and bake the other for a direct comparison :-o
