I know ya'll are die hard 2 stroke fans but I'm really happy with my 14 kx 450... Bike handles like nothing I've ever ridden before. After a few mods it does really well in the woods. I couldn't be happier!

As good as the 14 450 is ,a hell of a lot can be done to make them better , gold valve the forks is a must, base and mid valve , we use the optional longer link on our 450 ,corners better ,a 22mm offset clamps is my next hop up . I think kawi done well with the 15 model but they need to expand there range of dirt bikes by 2 models , KTM are taking over ,and the people who don't like orange get the husky ,which look better in my eyes . NOTE after I ride our 450 I sometimes jump on the k5 ,you no what its the only bike that makes you shake your head after you ride it on how fast it can go, FUN.

I never keep stock suspension on any bike... I went with the MX-Tech Setup front and back tuned for off road. They did an excellent job, better than anything I've ever ridden... Still debating on running the longer link and offset clamps, I ride strictly wooded trails and hill climbs so I'm not sure if it would be in my best interest.

Had a 14 450 f for a year now , my son picked up a new 15 450 a month ago , the 15 is for racing , the 14 goes back to being a spare race and practice bike , our 250 2t does racing at the sand tracks in the 250 class , and hopefully some 2 stroke only racing. the 15 is quieter , the front brake is better , the forks are good and don't need any mods done to it at the moment , unlike the 14 forks which has also been known to deflate. The 15 is getting the longer dog leg fitted soon , as the 14 has the longer leg and is a better bike for it , for 2016 I like Kawasaki to trim more weight of it like ktm did to there 15 and a half model , less off set in the triple clamps and some foot pegs that don't clog up with mud all the time , we fix this up with a die grinder . A bit more hp to try to keep up to k5 in the straight would be nice as well.
