Hi All,
Anyone know where I can get front & rear rotors from?
I've seen used ones on ebay, but without measuring & looking at them, I'm hesitant to buy them.
Mine reached their service limits over the years. Probably should have been replaced awhile ago.....
Since I'm rebuilding the entire bike, I thought I'd start fresh...brakes are rather important :-D.

At least buy a 270mm oversize for the front if your going to update , stock is weak in braking performance.
-
Thanks...but I'm no familiar with anything other than stock.
Where can I get the rotor from...which will fit...and what other mods do I need to do?

If your still looking for rotors, I came across this today. It's only the front and I don't know about the quality but it's cheap and new. My be free shipping too.

those rotors are hard to come by, they are different than the 89 and newer
-
Yup....saw those.
I actually wouned up buying a rear EBC disc....

Seems pretty good quality.....expensive...but after all they are your brakes.
Later I'll get the matching front.

I've been happy with all my EBC brake parts. 2003 Honda XR100 and 1980 CR80 both have EBC shoes, they last forever and stop very well.
My KX still has a well worn OEM rear rotor and those $6.00 Kevlar pads. It will stop... eventually, but I can rest assured those pads aren't chewing up my rotor.
Maybe I'll try that $40.00 no name disk.

+1
I've used EBC and Braking rotors in the past with excellent results...much cheaper than OEM also.
