Hi everybody, newby here to your awesome sight!!! Currently have a 2014 Beta 300rr but thinking about getting a KX 250 2t for a buddy bike. The only other KX I've owned was an 89 and I loved that bike it had a good trail riding motor. I know where I can get a 2002 for cheap but the owner says it is not running. Any way for off road riding and mainly California high mountain single track whats your opinions?????
Thanks,454x.

welcome to the site!...every one's opinion on the best KX250 will vary some, but one of the single best mods you can do to make a bike "good for you" is have the suspension setup for your weight/skill level/general riding terrains.
I currently have a 2000 with mild mods that I'm quite comfy on...

have a look at this thread, some pretty good responses in it...

look at the upper left of your screen of the site...where you see KXRiders.com, there's a blue menu tab just below it...there's one option that says "search".

04 but if you got a lot of money 05 to 08 has the most potential ,you have to modify most of it?
