I have a Hobart Handler, runs on 110 and does great on small to fairly big jobs. But I have a Linde for the real big stuff, the Hobarts all Ive used on my bikes or the best would be a TIG welder.

I forgot to mention as a precaution I always remove any thing electrical from being grounded or connected to the frame when Im welding on my bike so it doesnt short it out or fry my ignition.
Title: good 110v mig welders

my buddy is experienced welder. he owns a couple different welders[tig,220v mig and 110v mig]ive seen him weld broken kickstart levers, broken perches, subframes, frame gussets, exhaust pipes and almost every other weldable part on a motorcycle with his 110 mig.he says a good 110v mig  will do most motorcycle and auto repairs.here is a pic of his welder and some motorcycle parts he welded.
