Post by: quadfan on May 12, 2014, 12:39:13 PM
hey guys, anybody have suggestions for tuning at 4300 ft?  thanks to the wonderful "ethanol" fuel we have the carb has to come apart and I was wondering what you guys have found that works. its an old desert bike, engine has been modded, fmf gnarly pipe, fmf power core, I run lucas semi-syn 2stroke and 88 oct eth free fuel.
any help is greatly appreciated. it wont ever see the dunes, I have a dune bike for that, its a mountain & trail bike.

Stock motor, 92 octane clear gas with 40:1 Motul 800, VF2 reeds hi tension setting, PC2 pipe, 4000-5000 ft, 70 deg on up, I run 52/165
I intend to leave my main jetting at 165 but I may try a 50 pilot as it does run a bit rich.
I hope others chime in as well...
