Hi,
I have a K5 -89 euro model with upsidedown fork. Now I need a new front brake hose. But they seems to be difficult to find. There is a smal metal piece at the end of the hose, that is bolted to the fork in the lower end. Then a small tube connected to the caliper.
Any idea of how to fid a hose like that?
Or other ideas to make it work again..?

In the US they didn't use the USD forks until 1990 on the 500 so I think this interchange info is the same for you: FITS 90-93 KX125 KX250 KX500 - 43059-1577

hello peter, greetings from germany to sweden...
i have a set of 89 usd-fork-legs (with only 4 riding ours after last service with new seals) for sale inclusive the brake hose and a matching disc-brake-guard...i sell it as set,because dont need this parts after upgrading my 87 evo-racebike...

The problem is that the Connection in the lower end does not look like the other end. Its a small metal piece that is like a cube. This one is bolted to the fork. Then from that piece there is a small metal tube that is connectecd to the caliper. Could it be that that part could be reused when making a new hose?

yes thats the problem, the lower metal part is bolted into the cube, the cube is one part with the upper flex-hose ... would the cube be one part with the lower metal pipe you could use any brake hose, with this straight thread on one side...
so whats up? do you want this parts from me?? fresh serviced usd-forklegs for your spares with the complete ´89 brake hose that you need ... make me an realistic offer and i will figure out, how much is shipping from germany to sweden...

That was a 1990-1993 KX500 front brake hose...

´89 shematic... there you can see the cube and the lower little pipe, that swe_k5_89 spoke of... i have this parts laying around and for sale after my fork-swap ...
