Title: cylinder specs
Post by: sportracer07 on February 15, 2014, 01:35:27 PM
Hey guys i just bought  an 86 kx 250 that im trying to put back together. The bike has been apart for years and the cylinder has been sleeved but was pretty rusty. I honed the cylinder some and measured it with a mic and its 70.15 at the top and 70.08 at the bottom. Is this within specs, im tryn to figure out if i can use a standard bore piston or if i need to go oversized. Also the cylinder is smooth but does have a few pits in it from where it was so rusty. just looking for some advise here.
