I've been watching this forum for a while. My name is Ian and I have an 88 500. Love the ride and felt I should join.
I read some stuff on whoops and corners and went to a sand pit and practiced for a while today. In a rain and wind storm.
Part of why I went with a big bore was that I'm 6 foot 4 and roughly 290 to 300 lbs. Always got dusted When on a 250.
Blah blah blah. Watching round 2 of the ama moto in phoenix.
Site rocks. Love you guys. Yes I'm drinking. Ian

What we drinking tonight? Anything good?

Rum and coke. I really have to pee but my wife is asleep on my lap as j watch the race. I'd send a pic if I could figure out how to. As I said - drinking. 450s now!

love the view here....I envy you guys that are privileged to live and ride so close to the mountains....it's a 2 1/2 hour drive north til I get into anything like that.

I live in Vancouver BC. That track is in an area called chilliwack. About an hour away. Popkum motocross track is what it's called. Super mild winter and most guys with sleds are back on quads or bikes.
I have borrowed my bosses rmk 900. That's a hefty 2 stroker. I am a little tall for sledding. About 6'4". Maybe more. Down to 280 from 310.

new seat and updated fender...lookin good :-D
must be quite different sitting on it now without a seat that was 4 feet tall.

Sweet ride man.
all those chains make it hard fer a feller to make a living though.
-
Chains! And I park my wife's Honda civic right in tight also. I'll make it hard as heck to take and have a scratched car to show for it.
Thanks for posting sandblaster and I'm lovin the parts. I have not put the new rad in yet but it's going to happen soon.
My boss lending me his old sled. It's his ex wife's 600 cc Polaris something. Old like 2009. Wow.
Now this I'm worried about. Maybe I'll even take a pic if it doesn't kill me. Thanks again.
-
Now you know why he needs a tall seat :-D

So my boss lent me a sled for the weekend. I think that's a 2007. It's an 800 cc. Plenty of get up and go.
Thanks for posting the pics for me sandblaster. Totally awesome of you.
Somebody had mention that it must be nice riding a bike without a seat that was 4 feet tall. Kinda funny to ride on a normal seat actually.
I'm 6 foot 4 and roughly 290. That's my mom and my big brother. He's huge.
Might explain the kx 5 er seat I have.
Thanks again guys.
