Title: petrol tap very close to cylinder head any ideas on a smaller tap to use

its on kx 500 af 250 chassis kxf

any help appreciated :oops:

a KLX 450 uses a remote tap so the bottom of the tank is a near flush mount and the tap is mounted on a tab on the LH side of the frame which your frame does not have but you might be able to work something up.

I just bought the valve and tap off ebay so I should know how well it works on the 07 kx250f chassis in a week or so..

I go the last used one off eBay.
It is suppose to fit a 08-09 KLX450R but we'll see what it does for us.

It's already shipped to me so I should be able to see fairly soon.
Of course I will now have to reassemble my mock up motor :-)

CRF250's use a remote valve also. They should be plentiful and the bay.
