Love my Kx500 and 94 Kx250, but also wish someday to get a KDX 220 etc.
My 94 KX has the Huge IMS 4.9 Gastank, and The KDX can go up to 3.5 I believe.
Great year for 250 is 98 kx250:
How are the 98 KX and KDX 250/220 the same and how are they different??
Can the 98 KX250 Top End go onto the 98 KDX220???????
How is the Gearing diff KX/KDX?? is KDX taller or Wider??
It looks like the KDX220 didn't get the Kool FATT 97-98 KX250 Swingarm??
Can the 98 KX Swingarm mod to the 98 KDX?????
Sidenote, I was told I can put the 98 KX swingarm on my 94 KX250, true??
They stiffened frame for 98 KX, did it get stronger for 98 KDX??
I think the KDX makes good base for a street legal bike as already has stator etc. and can easily run lights etc.?? Thx Mch, s

yes without any problems ..linkage , swingarm-bolt and rear axle is all the same like 94 ... and i personally would also change the rear brake caliper and anchorplate of the 98 model to the 94...

Think about putting your kdx250 into a 99-01 kx frame. Haven't done this one myself (yet). But after building a 200/125 hybrid I can only imagine how awesome that would be.
