Title: 1991kx250 brake pedal & exhaust rubber seal question.
Post by: timberwolves on October 01, 2013, 02:11:43 PM
Can the bushing inside the rear brake pedal be removed and replaced, the one that's on my bike is very sloppy with side to side play in it ? When I got the bike it had a hole in the clutch cover case next to where the pedal sits, previous owner accident and or neglect. It was also was missing the return spring. Got the new spring and bled and adjusted the rear brakes and checked free play. The pedal is still sloppy and rubs on the case, I was thinking that the bushing in the brake pedal is worn out and can be replaced ? The pin it sits on is welded to the frame and I don't see an easy fix on the pin side. One more quick question I need to replace the rubber seal that goes between the pipe and silencer ? I have a FMF Gold Series Pipe and a I think a stock silencer the silencer has no markings on it that I see. Dealership says seal is no longer available, any ideas ? John.
