I'm searching for a new 04 KX500, do you knew any dealer who have some 500 left??

Cycle Trader is a great place to search for bikes.  However, I learned something that's important to know before you start calling dealers.  If you search for a bike, say a KX500, you will see many listings.  I discovered that listings which state "Call for Price" are not legitimate.  These listings are automatically generated by Cycle Trader for dealers that subscribe to Cycle Trader's advertising service.  If the dealer sells Kawasaki bikes, Cycle Trader automatically creates listings for every model of Kawasaki bike, regardless of what is in stock at that dealer.  If you call these dealers and ask about "the KX500 that's listed on Cycle Trader", they will have NO idea what you are talking about.  They don't have a KX500 in stock.  

On the other hand, ads that state a price are from dealers that actually have a bike in stock.  These ads are manually placed because the dealer has a bike that is for sale.

In August-September 2004 I called many, many dealers and eventually learned that very few U.S. dealers have had a KX500 in stock within the past few years.  As of September 2004 there were a few 2004 KX500's around, mostly in the South West and West Coast states.  That is the last region where KX500's were in demand.

Call Darryl @ Kelly's (480) 969-9610 $3900.00 for a 2004 (used with loads of engine work) OR there is a dealer in National City, CA that had one last week.

Why go with a 2004 when you can not get it green stickered. You may want to look for a 1998-2002 (exactly the same as a 2004) and you can ride it year round.
