Title: 89 KX 250 Carb
Post by: Maicoman on September 12, 2013, 12:20:17 PM
I need to replace my stock Keihin carb on the above bike. Do I want to replace it with the same, or there a better setup?

whats up with your carb? the stock keihin pwk 39 is one of the best carbs for the green rocket. only update that i would make is the keihin pwk 38 airstriker that came in 97 to the kx250.  :-)

My slide is worn out. I don't want to buy a new slide to find out the carb body is worn too. I can post pics of the slide ,if you want to get a look.

Pretty much I want to see what options I have.

As my son will be riding this bike once in a while I ordered a new air striker. If it was just me I'd be goin about it half assed.

Ordered from CPW. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the assist
