Title: stator install on 83 kx250, timming????'s

how do i set the timing on a 83 kx250? i am trying to get the machine back running and i just got the electrical system

Well I'm not sure about the '83 model, but, I know the new 2-strokes dont have timing chains. Are you sure its a KX? And you can find all kinds of books on that kind of stuff, check the mags too.
