We found an old trail that we believe may link up at the Valley of Fire from APEX. We call it "Toe Nail" trail because I lost my toe nail in a deep "G" out! Jammed my foot so hard inside my boot! I tried to verify using Google maps but after the trail hit solid rock over the Sheep Head range you couldn't pick the trail up anymore. One of my riding partners with a Rekluse and an extra gallon of fuel made it over the mountain range and said it looked like it went all the way to the Valley of Fire. You can always start at the Valley of Fire next to the Indian Reservation instead of APEX.

Shoot me a PM! I ride every weekend, holiday and any other day I get off! Besides too much beer it's all I do these days! If you come down during the work week I'll take some time off. If you stay at a casino I'll make room in my garage so your bikes are safe.

How bout Nov 10th ,its a Sunday, I'll be passing through any chance you'd be around then? Also ,do you gotta have a spark arrestor down there?
Take him up on safe bike storage , last winter I had 5 gallons of premix jacked while I went in to the store for a bottle of wine 10 minutes tops. I hope it fouled the thiefs car plugs. Just glad the bike was still there, got permission from my Daughter to park in her living room after that

No Europe this year! Lol! I was trying to make it up your way too but it's always something! Especially to escape the never ending brutal temps here in Vegas. November is good...at least for now.
If you're on the desert floor they generally won't cite just give you a verbal warning. If your up at higher elevations around the pines and other burn fuel sources they may cite you or not. I've never seen enforcement in any of the places we ride for the last 13 years! I've heard of other people being checked for sparky's though. The economy, budget constraints, they just don't have the manpower here in Vegas.

10-4! Martin from Sweden should be showing up for his annual visit! He is a very good technical rider but is apprehensive when it comes to the high speed desert stuff! I'll do some more recording soon!
