Title: picked up a 2004 kx250 need wiring help
Post by: Harmon7 on June 22, 2013, 09:59:25 AM
Just picked up an 04 kx for only $1400!! brought the bike home and took it down to the frame for powdercoat. Just got the frame back and I completely forgot how the wiring routes and mounts to the frame(cdi/coil/etc)...... Total rookie mistake for not taking pictures. But does anyone have pictures of the wiring on the frame??? Ive found diagrams but that doesn't help me much.
Will post pictures soon!
thanks!

for the most part,it's pretty self explanatory....between the number of bolts for each part-to-frame...slack in the wiring/routing,and the plugs should be self explanatory as well...meaning they will all only plug into one place....fail-safe.
I had an 04 a few years ago,and went through a similar dilema...I have a 2000 now,and the wiring is very easy to figure out.
You can figure this out....if I can,you can.
