Which bile is faster in a straight line the cr500 or the kx500 has anyone ever drag race these two monster?

The KX 500 is faster than anything in a straight or curvy line. Nothing is faster. It is by far the fastest piece of equipment ever made.  :-D

K5 is the fastest. The cr has more snap/throttle response, no powervalve lag. But top speed low end grunt the Kawi is sweet & wins easily. Dont get me wrong an 86 cr500 is fun, 87 & up were all detuned though.

yeah ..and its nice to feel the bear-power if the frontwheel lifts up still in 4th gear...  :-D
my kx360-big bore only does it up to 3th gear...

the k5 is also much more rideable as all 500 ktmīs maicos and crīs that i tested in the past. i tried an rm465 a few weeks ago and it feeled only like my kx360 with more bottom-power...
 and the k5 is the biggest 500-engine ever made in stock with 499ccm...  :-D

maico 500   : 488ccm
suzuki rm500: 491ccm
honda cr500: 492ccm
ktm sx 500  : 495ccm

put the right rider to the engine and he will be fast with all kind of frames...  8-)
  a bike is only so fast as the rider is able to turn the throttle on the track...  :-)

Speaking of power per displacement, has the Honda rc116 ever been beat?  :-D I was doing 70 on asphalt with my KX5 and snapped the throttle in 4th gear with my 240 fat butt on it and pulled an unexpected wheelie. Enough of a pucker factor to crown it King in my book! Scared the crap out of me! Depends, where are you?!?!?

now it has enough power, but the bike is now far far away of an good mx-handling...   :evil: 

need a pic from the left side to see how they connected both countersprockets to the rear wheel ...
 or is the second engine only for spare and safes come back home???... :lol: :lol:
