I'm trying not to laugh because I'm sure it was his prized possession but I gotta ask, What was he thinking?

I think it may have been a stuck throttle or clutch is locked up.  Looks like it goes pinned each time he started it up... maybe when he drops it in gear it just launches...  you know like when people forget the washers in a clutch basket?
