What pipe is really better for desert riding???
FMF gnarly desert, or the FMF fatty desert???
-
Machine, everybody is going to disagree on this one, but I've found the Gnarly Rev (desert) to have unlimited overrev, but that may also be from the porting on my bike. But I can tell you that moving from a stock exhaust to a gnarley desert, it increased the overrev by about 50%. Did not notice a diffrence in power anywhere else.
I've also been told that the Gnarley Rev is just a thick walled fatty with a little more overrev.

Has anyone ever had any luck with the pro circuit platinum pipe? Is the fmf that much better? On all my bikes in the past i've had pro circuit exhaust and they worked great. I'm just trying to decide which pipe I should get.

steeldust,
Go for a another pipe then PC ?cause need some porting to work well.
I use it, but on a heavy modified bike!
Just my 2 cent.

I have the PC mx,but have never compared it to the FMF.The PC seems to tame the power some, not hit as hard.Id go with the PC desert pipe or the FMF,I dont think youll go wrong eaither way(but Im leaning slightly to the FMF).

Thanks guys!!!
So it will be the FMF gnarly desert!

I think Destry runs the FMF Gnarly. Once I flatten my Fatty I think I'm going to switch to the Gnarly. Good Luck :D

I just got tha Pro Circuit platinum pipe. I Bought it on ebay for 75 bucks shipped, man what a difference smoothed the power out alot and gave alot more top end.
