Title: kx250 kick lever on a kx500?

So the 500 levers are almost double the price of a 250 kick lever. So will it fit? Its an '86 KX500 by the way. Im selling it and trying to just get anything that the guy can use to start it. I know it has to be pretty hefty for the big 500.

here you will find the answer.  :-)  my motor is also an 86 ...

kx500 kickstart levers are interchangeable from 85 up to 2004 model.

kickstartshaft on kx500 is bigger than kx250. only the upper part of older kx250 kickers is equal to all kx500 kickers. newer kx250 kickers are changed at the joint.
oem-price for new kickstart levers is approximately equal for kx250 or 500.
