Hey guys. I have been a member here for a while but I was yust reading the posts.
I have a 1992 KX500 for almost 10 years now. When I bought the bike the only good thing on it were the plastics and the seat, which are from 1997 KX500. I rebuild it twice since I bougt it. The first rebuild of the bike took quite some time because almost every part on the bike was "broken".
Othervise I love the bike from the first day I open the throtle on it. You just have to get used to the fact that in the woods you will be closing the throtle more then you will be opening it.

Looks great.
Do you have pics of your riding area's?

Nice bike. The kx500 has its advantages and disadvantages in the woods but a always ton of fun.
Wondering what kickstarter you have on there and how it is working out for you (doesn't look like a KX500 starter to me)?

Kickstarter is custom made from stainless stell, because the first thing that got broken, when I got the bike, was the OEM kickstarter.
