Title: newer year rear shock for 2005 kx250f

i'am posting this here becuse i need a quick answer! anyone know it a shock from a newer year kx250f kx450f will fit my 05 kx250f? i was thinking of upgrading to a olhins shock. but i can only find one for a newer year kx450f :oops:

Hello.
I'm sure some newer shocks will fit.
However, I don't have that information.
But, if you take your shock and get the following information:

Then send your measurements to whomever you were considering buying a shock from and ask them to verify the same measurements.

cool thank you sandblaster. i've got a friend who is selling a rear shock from a 2012 crf250r .i'l ask to borrow it so i can see if it fits my bike. if i'am correct honda and kawasaki use the same suspension brand rigth?

Nope.
I have never been able to get one at a price I could part out.
I almost never see the KX450F's with a blown motor or condition bad enough for me to buy.
There are lots of Suzuki and Honda 450's in our area with blown motors but not the KX450F's.
Could be there aren't that many here or maybe is superior engineering?

I have a 2008 Kx450F shock on my bench...       for sale also...
