This picture of Team Kawasaki's Mike Kiedrowski on the KX500 is too cool not to share....check out his throttle hand and notice his wrist cranked forward shutting off the power, or maybe he is just getting ready to crack the throttle WFO.....

Chopping the throttle will allow a "nose up" situation to let the front end drop. I've watched the real fast A riders actually momentarly brake and lock the rear wheel to quickly achieve the same result. Pretty cool technique. I believe its called the "gyro effect" ?

I was there. What a good time hearing the 500 as The Roc went by us somewhat mildly! Several retro bikes were on hand that day for a parade lap.
In the last pic I Would like to know the conversation between Mike and Stanton...Maybe...Jeff you aint got a hair on your azz if you aint pinning a k5 wide open up Larocco's Leap. :-D
