Title: 2005 kx250f coversion to 2005 kx250 two stroke

i did'nt get any reply's to this in the kx250f forum. So i'am posting it here. is it possible to swap the frame and engine.Of same year kx250f and kx250 (2005) would the triple clamps fit in the frame? would the gas tank fit? would plastic fit? is it a a easy way to make my 4t a 2t?

Yes, you could do it. Yes, triple clamps will interchange. No, the gas tank will not. No, the plastic will not. No, there is not an "easy way".   Completely different frames, and plastics.

look at team service honda´s website... they make the cr500af and also the new kx500af´s.  also 125 and 250 af´s i´ve seen on this website.
but why an kx250-motor install in a steelframe-250f ... then change the complete bike in a standard kx250 03-07 ...this bike works great and is lighter than the 05- 4stroke-frame  :-D
