My kill switch won't work on my 125. I've never had this happen on a bike before. Is it usually the button that goes out or the whole wire? Thanks in advance.

If you take it apart you should be able to see what the problem is.
Usually just corrosion or broken wire.
If you have an Ohm meter you should be able to trace it fairly easily.

Thanks, as we say in Texas. ''I fitna fixit"!

I took it apart and didn't see any obvious signs of a problems on the wire. The I tried to clean around the button and it didn't work. I've got a new switch being shipped now. If that doesn't fix it what should I look at next. I cleaned the ground wires to the frame. Is it possible that the coil is going bad? I've never seen one go bad by not allowing the engine to stop but it wouldn't surprise me.

Ok guys I got the new kill switch and it fixed everything.

Sorry you didn't get a response on that last post buddy.....I'm glad its fixed.
Next time to check to make sure 100% that the switch works is to get a multimeter, set it to ohms and put each lead on each wire of the kill switch..
With the kill switch button NOT pressed you should have OL on the meter.....
With the kill switch button pressed you should get a very low resistance like 0.2 ohms.....
If you get OL when you press the kill switch button you know that the kill switch is not working correctly.
