Where can i find KX500 videos, Im looking for old 500cc AMA Motocross videos or any kind of amateur KX500 vids(Helmet Cams,or whatever, If you know how to get them or find them on the net, post a link or let me know. I love to watch the green giant in action!

I found some 500cc Motocross GP racing videos. From year 183-89. Not KX500 racing only just 500cc class. www.dukevideo.com :D

is it motorcross? or road racing?

delusionised, It appears to be motocross just from reading the title and video info. Appears that most of their videos are from the Europe 500cc races. Take at look you'll know  a lot more about the history of these races then I do.

They have a VHS "Motocross 500 gp 1987" with "The man and only" H?kan Carlqvist from Sweden on a Kawasaki KX 500,WorldChampion -79 (250cc)and third -83(500cc) and more......!

I will order it soon,many wants a c..y. 8)

I have the 1990 AMA 500 class season on a video made from a satelite dish, about 8 races I recall.  Lots of Ward/Staton duels.  It's not bad quality.  I don't know how I would copy or distribute it. I'll ask around and see how to convert to an AVI so could possibly post here for downloads. Cam.

that is exactly what I am trying to find, how can i find it?

  This is a tape I made in 1990, with commercials editted out.  Let me work on how I can convert it to a Video CD format then we can figure out a way to download it. Cam.

I have the '93? 500 nationals that Im sure I got from motovideo,otherwise most clips of the 500 are small parts of a movie.Time to ride has a nice part of Destry Abbott in it,and Destry had some good footage of him on his old web site.I asked him to put it on his new site but it hasnt happened.Maybe if more of us asked for clips of him on the 500 he'd run them agin.

I'd love to see the 93 500 Nationals. I believe that was the last 500 national.  I love what Vintage Iron has done with the Vintage Iron Nationals and Two Stroke World Championships.  Someday, I'd like to see a gathering of 500cc 2 strokes.
