Title: Got a old carb boot that is cracked and you can't buy a new one?

Here is a article I put together for a member of my site to help him.
He could buy a new boot but he has no money so......

I've never had the need yet to attempt a "boot restoration" but I agree, you could rough sand the rubber surface then coat the entire boot with RTV silicone. No it won't look the best, but RTV is an amazingly tough resilient sealer .
