Title: Team Green coming to an end???

Just read in the new RacerX that Team Green is coming to an end,and will be shutting down for 2013.
One of the qoutes in the article says...."Rumors say Ryan Villopoto's big contract took the budget from other Kawie programs,but (Destry)Abbott won't place the blame"...Abbotts quote..."I don't know if that's even true".

Anyone else heard of this,or confirm it?

Its been out for about a month now. From what I understand is that Team Green support for "Off Road Racers" is ending and not for MX. No more Desert Racing, GNCC, Enduro, ISDE support etc. It really sucks! My wife had Team Green support in 06 for enduros. It was a good program and really helped out the regional and national racers.

Huh....guess it's safe to say I'm a month behind in my current events :?....thanks Flyin!
Now I know why I'm seeing so many more guys riding KTM's in my area that used to ride Kawie.

Kawasaki has been cutting programs for years.  Back when they cut the drag racing support James Stewart took the heat from his big contract.  Truth is, motocross/supercross is the most mainstream.
