Title: id'ing KX 125 vs KX 250
Post by: crazyguy on November 19, 2012, 07:01:54 PM
new to the site, going to look at a bike guy dosnt know if the chassis is a 125 or 250 chassis.  suppose to be a 97 and have a few motors for it.    for 97 could you bolt 250 or 125 into the same frame?  I know the swing arm is suppose to be longer for the 250 by about 20mm but thats not much good if I you dont have 2 different ones to compare.    if I looked at the vin what digit would tell me 125 or 250.   I have been google searching for a breakdown of kawi vins but everything just want you to type the vin in, not so usefull when the computer isn't with you looking at a used bike.
