Title: Why skid plates are worth their weight in water pumps

Yup, I've seen my share of folks who wanted the latest graphics to adorn their trusty steed, but didn't have the bucks for a skid plate...until after they purchased a new case, water pump, clutch cover, etc.  That $50 skid plate sounded pretty cheap after seeing the bill for the repair parts, plus a new skid plate.

  I'd have to say the same for rad guards too.   Always protect the expensive/important parts first, thats why we wear helmets for riding (and cups for hockey!)  My local dealer has a rad with a stick impaled all the way through it hanging beside the rad guards. Fairly convincing. Cam.
