I pretty much understand the potential problems of extreme cold on bikes during storage, but what about 100 plus degree heat? I often store the bikes in the trailer or in the garage, and feel like they are doing ok, but under our current heat wave this summer with record heat I wonder if there is anything to worry about storing them in that kinda heat.

The only thing "bad" I could think of,is possibly excessive pressure building up in the tank...but if the vent is working,it should'nt cause any problems...other than that, maybe decals wanting to come off. These are just thoughts...I really don't know,as I keep my bike in my living room under climate control....consistant 62-68 degrees :-D
Interesting post....I'm curious to see some more thoughts on this.

:-D HAhaha, ya mine stay in the house through the winter, but only after they are cleaned up well. Can't see making room for them all year round, but they are alot safer in the house.....
