Is there any aftermarket wider footpegs available for the 86?The stockers are a bit sketchy at times,I've searched around but with no luck,Thanks
-
I have yet to see any.I know guys that weld on extensions that wrap around the OEMs to get the results you're looking for. That's probably gonna be your only option...unless someone on here knows an aftermarket company making them.
you can try IMS....they sell wider pegs for the KX5,but they don't list the years they'll fit...besides 88-04.

If you have sanding disks you can retro fit a set of 2005 and later CRF450 footpegs. I just bought a set off of ebay for $25 and put them on my 87...works and look great.

ya I figured it woud have to be a custom job since no one lists any for the 86,Thanks Guys

I just put these on my bike. IMS Pro-Series Foot Pegs. Solid equipment and no modifcations needed. The stock pegs did scare me a little too. Especally when I looked close and saw they had already been welded once.
