Thanks Hughes for sharing, a good  read. The funny thing is they say it was the best 500, but people rode the Honda more. Here in Europe a kx500 is almost rare compared to a cr500.
Honda had the big bucks so they could buy the best riders. Like ktm now :-D..
Wonder what would happened if Kawasaki made the changes DC Concepts made(250 rear subframe, lowboy exhaust).
