Very good source to see what parts are interchangeable.  Just keep scrolling to the right.  It keeps going.

I have the shaft in my 86 kx500. but does the lever really matter if i get the bolt that fits the shaft? I'm missing the lever and bolt for my 86 at the moment. thanks!

The shaft fits 85-04 even though my list says 86-04.
I still need to update all my lists...
So, if the shaft is the same it stands to reason that the lever will fit on it.
What I don't know is how the lever will fit with the chassis.
I'm guessing that it will fit just fine but I have never tried it..

Awesome link, especially for some one trying to rebuild/restore and older pre-1988 gen chassis.
