I have a 05 kx250 and the offer of a cheap 2008 kxf250 frame, tank, subframe and air box.
What other parts are needed :?

I just got done building one with 03 motor so its slightly different but not much. Your going to need a 2001 honda 250 airboot and the only other thing that I can think of is what radiators your going to use. I used radiators off of a 2003 kx250 and modified them slightly while others have used honda radiators.

kx125 rads go virtually straight on 250f ones are too tall i used a kx250 year 2000nair boot on mine (kx250 2003 in 2008 kxf250 frame) is it a rolling chassis ??? forks etc wheels??

No unfortunately its just the frame. Are the kx250 forks and swingarm going to fit the frame?
With the air boot does the honda just bolt on?
I guess I will modify the kx250 radiators too fit.....

dont think much will fit the ally frame ,your better off with a rolling chassis ,sounds like a lot of work and part searching!

I know the wheels will workk as well as the front brake system. The triple clamps may work as well as the forks, the only problem with that is the 250f came with showas and the 250 two stroke came with kayaba. The air boot does not bolt straight on you need to make an adapter plate for it to work
