I have yet to find an aftermarket pipe and silencer.   Does anyone know were one might find such a rare thing?  Will other year pipes fit?

did u try to order from fmf? they make pipes back to 1986

I looked up fmf and they are only covering back to 1988 kx250's.  Will an 88 pipe fit an 87?

Im not sure if they will fit because they have different part numbers.
88 - 18002 1801
87 - 18002 1716.

DG Performance has a silencer, but no pipe.

If you need a spark arrestor, FMF has a universal-style spark arrestor.

I searched around and couldn't find a pipe.

Anyone have info about getting a custom pipe made?

Anybody else know of an 87 kx 250 pipe for sale.  Also looking for a good monoshock, front sprocket gaurd and rear caliper gaurd.  Thanks!

i had an 87 kx250. noone makes a pipe for that year. it was a one off year bike. i baught a running 87 with a pipe on it and combined all the good parts to make one good runner. i have since sold it which i regret. but it is what it is. good luck on the search, not an easy find. took me at least 6 years to find mine. but you maybe luckier than me.

if you can weld or know someone that can weld, you can cut the mounts off an 88 and possibly make that pipe work.

yes it will work ive got one on my 85 250 pro circuit pipe
