curious if anyone had one or knew a part number that would help me find a float needle for my 87 kx5 roundside carb?

correction, 86 kx5, roundside carb none the less

I think this is what you need:
PN 16030-1060 VALVE-FLOAT,3.0 is also used on these models and components:
1985 KX250-D1 KX250 CARBURETOR
1985 KX500-B1 KX500 CARBURETOR
1986 KX250-D2 KX250 CARBURETOR
1986 KX500-B2 KX500 CARBURETOR
