Title: 2005 KX500 been discontinued?

I don't see it on any Kawasaki brochures or website? Is it gone?

There isn't a 2005 KX500.

KX450 2006 IS THE REPLACEMENT. The value of your bike just went up!!!

2004 is the last year for the "MIGHT KX " 500,  My local dealer jammed me for 5300.00 for the bike and 600.00 for a dual sport kit and i would have paid more  to have the Last 500,great bike but no deals here. The 04' kx  has a very small 500 sticker on the shrowd that tells what it is, so on my side panels i put "250 twice" to help mere mortals understand what just happened to them.

I wonder how many 2004 KX500's were made to last for interested buyers for the next few years??

from what i understand, I bought 1 of 2 of the last new kx 500's in the u.s.  A kawasaki rep found 2 in Portland, Oregon.  I have one.
