does any one know if a front brake setup off a 93 kx250 will fit on a 97 kx 250

The caliper bracket for the 93 uses a 60.5MM mounting distance between the bolt holes.
The caliper bracket for the 97 uses a 102MM mounting distance between the bolt holes.
The caliper for the 93 uses the same part number for the following bikes 90-93 KX125 & KX250 & KX500, 91-94 KDX250.
The caliper for the 97 uses the same part number for the following bikes 97-98 KX125 KX250.
They may actually interchange with other years but I have never tried it.
So, your safe with 97-98 KX125 KX250 beyond that I just don't know.
