Intro

Hey all, new member here.  Long time lurker, first time poster.  Names Andy.  Let me first say that I don't presently own a Kawi.  So if that's a clickable offense, lets get on with it.  Quick and painless executions are the way I prefer to go.  Lol.  I use the same screen name on all the sites I hang on (Yes all 3 of them) so there is no confusion.  No point in using different pen names, so people don't lose track of the author of the literary masterpieces that get cranked out.  Or flushed out.  Take your pick.  Let me also say I'm a big user of "tongue in cheek" humour.  So if something I write offends someone, refer to the previous line.  Or just deal with.  See?  Just used it right there!  Actually, the comeradery of dirt bikers is something that I enjoy, whether riding or on the 'net.  That's one reason why I do it.  The other is the freedom that comes from a good ride.  You get on that bike and all the worlds bulls**t goes away.
I am looking at buying another 250 2 stroke and there's a couple of smoking deals out there I'm drooling on right now, an 02 and 05.  Both in PRISTINE condition.  I last owned a 2000 and THAT'S the motor I want back.  That bike was a rocketship!  I love a low-end motor, mostly 'cuz I suck as a rider and need to be able to recover from my numerous mistakes. Will post up some questions re: mods in Tech section.  Hopefully the aficionados will chime in and help me out.  Cheers all, and thanks for having me.   Andy

Hey Scooter,
Welcome to the site.  One good thing about the guys here is you know where you stand.  If the mods
don't like the direction a thread is going you will know in short order.
Thanks for taking the time to sign up and introduce yourself.  You hit the nail on the head when you say riding is like therapy.   Most folks just kind of look at you and think "Nutter".    Well, it may be true to a certain extent, so what!  :-D
Glad to have you with us.
Tuck\o/      or Tuck-O \o/  to my Bro's from the other side of the pond!
