A New K5 Rider From IA
« on: September 16, 2011, 08:05:30 PM »
Hi there. While I'm not new to dirtbikes I am new to the k5. I've had quite a few over my short life.
I currently have an 05 YZ250, 86 TRX250R and my 01 K5. I've somehow manged to get a street title and plate for my K5 and I've been searching for a cheap lighting coil with no leeds.

Oh, just one more thing, I'm an avid diesel enthusiast and tech by trade. I specialize in the cummins ISB series engines. So if you have any questions feel free... oh and here's a pic of the K5 with the 2k fender mod.. thanks to that beautiful sticky.

Welcome to the site,
Like 89'r says, the bike looks to be well taken care of.   I don't know of an inexpensive way to hook up a lighting coil..
Alward has a very cool set up in the Vender thread, but it's not cheap.
Thanks again for signing in and enjoy your time with us!
