newer KX500 engine in a 1989 KX 250 chassis?

Does anyone know if a newer KX500 engine will bolt right in to a 1989 KX 250 chassis?

the bottom mounts might work but i doubt the head stay would without some tweaking.

I was thinking all KX500!!!!!! Not KX250 mixed with KX500....
You are right, the bottom might work but the top is different.  :x

who would of thought. any real difference between the the two, as far as handle and weight goes?
