Front brake rotor

Fellas,
I'm needing a new front rotor for my '01 5hundie.
There is very few sources for parts up here in northern Alberta but I can get a Moose OEM replacement.
My motto always is to trade up when possible, Is there a better rotor and pad to be easily had as a direct replacement?
