New from Texas
« on: July 15, 2011, 10:28:13 PM »
Just wanted to say thanks for allowing me to join in!

I am currently in Afghanistan, and if things work out for me, I will be owning my first KX00 (a 92) when I get home for R&R in August.

Right now my plan is to just clean it up, check the suspension and keep it as is for now. It will be used mainly for EVO/GP era Motocross.

I have been poking around on the site since I found it, and have already got a bunch of information to use when I go see the bike next month.

Might have a few questions before then, but I m sure I will have a bunch when I get the bike!

Thanks again for allowing me to join up with the KXRIDERs!

 Thank you!

I am really getting anxious to get home that's for sure. Can't wait to see the family and then go see the bike.

I got a few pictures of it and it looks like just what I have been looking for.

I'll be sure to check the posts on here a few more times to see just what to look for in a used KX500.

Thanks

 Thank you Friar-Tuck!

I am a Vet myself now. Retired in 07 after 24 years as a Grunt in the Army.

Have two of my children in the Army now (Daughter in Germany and my Son who just went back to Iraq for his second tour). My other Daughter got out last year after having gone to Iraq two time herself.  Guess it's in the Blood????!!!!!!!!

I have already spent alot of time looking through the post here. So much info on the KX500 here I feel like I can go see the bike with a good base of knowledge and know what I need to be looking at and expecting.

The real questions will probably start after I get the bike!

Thanks again.
