Fork spring application question

Would fork springs from a 2002 KX250 fit a 91 KX500? Thanks

Judging from the part numbers being completely different and the fact that there is 5MM or .197" difference in the chrome tube diameter I would have to say that they would not fit.
I'm prognosticating again dang it.....
