metal head gasket

I am in the middle of rebuilding the top end on my 500, this time I have a Kawasaki metal type gasket, can anyone let me know which way it is orientated?

Larry Wiechman:

 The smaller coolant holes in the gasket go on the side of the cylinder that has the coolant inlet port. (Right side, kickstarter side....)
