Will this TM Designs Flag holder for a KX250 fit a 500?

I want to get a strong flag holder and mount and found this one on TM Designs......

I called TM Designs and asked if it fits a 500 and they said, "I have no idea" it isn't a bike we get much parts for.  So I looked it up on the micro fiche and saw that the part numbers are different for the axle blocks on 250's and 500's, abd they change with years.  Can anyone tell me if this will work?
