yeah the splines are same as late models, you could just use whole kicker from newer 500. the arm is pretty close in shape to not matter on your 86, but i bet if you look you will find an 86 kicker. it seems everytime i look for anything old kx related, it is always 86 stuff out there.

I too was looking for this part. #13061-1139. Discontinued. In fact...they're discontinued up to the '89 model year. From there on...still available.
